We are going to shore up Social Security, making it much stronger, but with NO CUTS, while the Democrats are destroying it, and our Country, by allowing Millions of Migrants to invade us, much like that of an Invading Army!
Unlike the Democrats, who are KILLING SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE by allowing the INVASION OF THE MIGRANTS, I will NOT, under any circumstance, allow either of these two precious GEMS to be even touched under a Trump Administration. Biden is killing them both with the INVASION, while at the same time destroying our Country! MAGA2024
Fact is there is no connection between migrants – even illegals and the declining financial status of Social Security or Medicare so why would anyone try and make that connection except to mislead?
Why would anyone believe the above statements, but they do. That’s why they are repeated over and over.

Ooops, I misspoke, there is a connection. Illegal immigrants pay billions each year in payroll taxes to both programs, but don’t collect any benefits.

Didn’t Old Yeller have a majority in the House and Senate for the 1st two years? What was his proposal to Congress to fix the system? When you control both houses you might be able to fix the problem.
Read a recent proposal that counts each $1 of SS income as $2 for tax purposes. That doubles the marginal tax rate on SS benefits. Wealthy folks would see a very large % of their benefit taxed away, while those who really need SS would have most of their benefit offset by the standard deduction. The purpose of SS was to keep folks out of the poor house.
Trump will blame illegals for most things because he is a politician. Much like Biden and his crew who blame MAGA folks for the ills of the nation. The illegals are an easy target because they are here illegally, thus why not demagogue them. Sort of like blaming crime on guns although they are legal.
Trump/Biden same folks just different demagogic dialogue. Question the 2020 election you are a denier–question vaccines and you are an anti-vaccer –question illegals invading the Southwest and you are a racist xenophobic uncaring bigot–question drag queens at my granddaughter’s 4th grade library day and you are a bigot–question the John Lewis voting bill and you are a racist taking us back to the era of Jim Crow.
So, yes Trump is your typical lying politician but like his fellow liar, Old Yeller, he hits on areas of importance to their constituents. The good folks like Joe Liberman are few and far between.

I think the point of false information related to SS and Medicare and immigrants has been missed here. That connection is totally false and intended to be inflammatory.

President Trump has learned from the failures of his first term. He is smart and will fix social security and Medicare by following the cuts that outlined in the plan endorsed by 80 percent of GOP congressmen. He is just too smart to say it before the election because some weak RINOS might be afraid to vote for him because they can’t stomach the cuts to these two programs. But they will adjust after he is elected and the cuts are enacted. Plus this time, Trump has learned from his mistakes and won’t let Democrats cheat their way back into power. He is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. He knows the migrant stuff is just for show to attract the lower educated folks while he handles the important stuff like tax cuts for our businesses and entrepreneurs. You can see that clearly from the success of his first term. He didn’t care about the wall once he got elected, but he got that tax cut done in a hurry.

The US Congress over many election cycles have failed to pass incremental changes in legislation to fund adequately the future S.S liabilities. Ask the senior members of Congress the question: why not? Maybe the answer is “we didn’t want to increase S.S taxes so as to risk our reelection”? Now the “ hen has laid the egg to hard to crack”!

We definitely are curious Richard. We are also very curious how Our current White House occupant plans to resolve the situation. Perhaps you could share what President Biden’s plan is for all of us? He’s had 38 months to try and start to resolve the issue…..

Well, he and the last two Congresses both failed as has happened the last two decades. Biden proposed higher payroll taxes over $400,000 but that doesn’t do the job. Trumps misleading generalities on both SS and ACA are concerning. He either does not understand the issues or intends to again mislead. At the same time his party talks about raising FRA which doesn’t solve the problem and is unnecessary and unfair to millions of Americans.

So essentially neither hasoffered a viable plan. It’s okay, you can say it, we understand! One thought though. Why did Biden wait until elections to even start to think about it aloud? After all he is the president now and has been for the last 38 months.

It is the right time to do something now, with the best economy that most of us will see in our life time, instead of worrying about this a few years down the road in less ideal economic circumstances…
