  1. What about Project 2025 which was written by Trumps aides and former cabinet members despite Trump’s claim that he knows nothing about it. That is the plan of the conservative Heritage Foundation. Project 2025 expands many of the points of the RNC platform.

  2. Obama deported close to 5 million, Bush deported 10 million and Clinton returned 12 million. So Republicans (including that horrible racist Trump) could deport all 7,800,000 illegal immigrants him and his Border Czar are responsible for and still not come near other recent presidents. We have a border process how about you be in favor of our laws for once!

  3. what a hoot–letting men play women’s sports–you have to be way out there for that–

sort of like the judge who allowed a child rapist to populate a woman’s prison as he was transitioning–the judge had been appointed to the federal bench and was being questioned by Cruz and Kennedy at a confirmation hearing.

anyone here illegally needs to go home–anyone with an illegal weapon needs to have it confiscated–breaking the law needs to have consequences

    1. Perhaps, but is that in the jurisdiction of the federal government?

Instead of illegal, go home, we should find a way to gain value from their working and paying taxes and find a way to properly make them legal in our interest

      1. if you broke the law to get here what gives you the right to stay?

what has happened in numerous states is folks move into other people’s homes–we refer to it as “squatting”–I don’t believe people can pick and choose the laws that should be obeyed and if you believe that we have some real problems.

I buckle up every time as much for safety as to not wanting a ticket if stopped by the police–a stop sign means stop!–it’s not negotiable.

      2. Like falsifying business records. When the CFO goes to prison and the owner (Individual One), well known for his hands on control, skates. It’s all good, though, even if he goes to prison, it’s apparently not illegal to still serve as President. Lets hope we don’t find out how that works IRL.

  4. Nothing about wealth inequality, climate change or government debt. I guess those are not important problems like where trans people play sports.

    1. wealth inequality has grown under this administration–when you dump all that money into the system it, like water, goes somewhere–like the equity markets–precious metals–real estate–easy money benefits those with assets and that ain’t the poor.

they brag about the economy and low unemployment rates–we are hauling in huge amounts of cash–but the debt keeps growing and growing–transfer the student loans to the “debt” column and you transfer it to the working man and woman–it also widens the wealth inequality you mention.

we have made great strides in this country when it comes to climate change with policies that reduce carbon as an example–but China/Russia/India spread the pollutants worldwide.

  5. Political platforms are a wish list and not many take them seriously–I am not sure if the following was in the Democratic 2020 platform:

we will withdraw troops from Afghanistan but don’t blame us if it is a total mess.

we will do our best to de-fund the police in our largest cities so we can re-imagine what police should be doing.

we encourage our Soros backed prosecutors to re-visit sentencing guidelines, lower them when possible, and re-characterize as many felonies to misdemeanors as follows.

we encourage people to take up to certain dollar amounts of goods from stores and businesses without fear of meaningful prosecution–this helps in our ongoing battle with wealth distribution.

we will do our best to ignore borders and laws that halt the flow of migrants–we need to encourage folks to join us as a way to assuage our racist and imperialist past–hey, they will be registered Democrats some day so think of the future.

we will do our best not to over stimulate the economy as that just creates inflation which is nothing more than a tax that hurts the poor the most, but if it happens it happens and we will deploy the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates to tame it down.

we will discourage the use of fossil fuels and do our best in this country not to exploit our vast resources–we will buy them overseas or empty the Strategic Oil Reserves if needed.

contracts are sacrosanct unless they are student loans which we will forgive–y’all know why.

we promise that migrants will be re-located in red states so our cities will not have additional strains on budgets, schools, and social integration.

we encourage women to feel that their body belongs to them and that taking the life of a fetus is a personal choice not to be interfered with by the state.

we encourage the legalization of drugs as it is perfectly normal to get high whenever somebody feels the need.

we will pass a voting rights law that benefits us and refer to any opposition as Jim Crow-2.

we are the party of Democracy–we reject coups and believe in the sanctity of the voters whether our delegates or all Americans other than those miscreants of Jan. 6.

So just a few of the nuggets of 2020–they adhered to them so good for democracy!

  6. Political platforms are written to elicit voters support. Some voters oppose certain parts and other voters support certain parts. Let legitimate voters decide at the ballot box. I ask what’s wrong with that? Oh… wait….too many voters are too dumb to understand. So let’s the so called elite in the media better educate them with their slanted propaganda. Readers beware?

    1. doesn’t it sound like many things well beyond the scope of the Constitutional power of the federal government or perhaps abuse of it?

      1. I’m not a constitutional scholar but anything is subject to court scrutiny if anyone thinks it exceeds the limits. This happens in any administration. Just because we don’t like it doesn’t make it unconstitutional..

      2. You mention # 17. Have you ever heard of Title IX? That’s the reason we have men in women’s sports – because of the radical interpretation of Title IX that someone who identifies as a woman is considered a woman. To not do so is gender discrimination.

  8. The RNC list is right out of “Puff, the magic dragon” If I remember last time they were going to do infrastructure every week they were in power but did nothing. Biden and Pete got it done in the first year and a half. Oh how about replacing Obamacare with a new plan it will be much better, again nothing. Yeh in the end they just keep singing the song ‘make America Great Again but in four years they made it much worse due to a divisive man leading the do nothing and know nothing party.

  9. The platform does seem ambitious and subject to a lot of court scrutiny. I know a lot of people would shout number two is preposterous, but think about it, you could have the largest deportation ever by sending back a handful of people who need to be sent back, not the millions in Trump speeches. That is the political way. As platforms go, it will be forgotten either the day after the election if they lose and the day after inauguration if they win. These things are all for show at the end of the day.

      1. As with any of these platforms, they’re all pie-in-the-sky ideas. But, yes I generally agree with this and I think most Americans would. Is there something in there you find particularly offensive?

      2. Re: 17 and 18

17- I’ve had a problem with this gender confusion stuff for a long time. If you’re physically male you shouldn’t compete in women’s sports. Obviously some people have confusion on this issue as to what they are. Still doesn’t make it right to join the girls team just because you can take first place.

18- This is a problem to just try deportations to campus radicals. Unless of course they really are Hamas and not just bored students stirring the pot.
