Hey, Mr President

Do you have a plan, a strategy, to assure Social Security remains sustainable and viable?

Are you going push Congress to action?

How about Medicare? Part A is heading toward insolvency. Is there a strategy to keep Medicare running smoothly for Americas seniors?

The tens of millions of Americans who rely on coverage through the Affordable Care Act want to know what you will do with their premium subsidies? is there a plan?

Other than a wall and deportation, is there a plan to allow more legal entry to benefit the United States and for humanitarian purposes?

  1. It sure would have been nice if you called out Sleepy Joe the way you comment on Trump. But that’s too much to ask of a Lefty.

    1. Jumping to conclusions are we. I am not a Democrat i never voted for a Democrat including Biden.

I am hard pressed to think of anything Biden may have done that comes close to the chaos and harm already created by Trump and more to come. Trump is putting the US at serious risk and handing influence to China.

      1. Help me understand what that means. What in your view constitutes far, far left. I hope being opposed to a power hungry demagogue like Trump is not part of it.

      2. All you want to do is spend money. You never saw a cut in spending that you liked. You don’t seem to understand that the money has to come from somewhere.

      3. Wow! I didn’t expect that. I opposed student loan forgiveness, i opposed unnecessary stimulus checks, i think the deficit needs to be gradually reduced and that any spending be fully funded. But you just cant cut away without considering the consequences on people. The key is not putting in place programs we cant afford.

  2. Al Lindquist:

Let’s not forget the ad that featured Rep. Paul Ryan, I believe he was Speaker at that time, pushing an old lady in her wheelchair off of a cliff. Those mean Republicans!!

First thought thru my mind was why not follow the last administration’s plan–but Jack and Briskly must have heard me as they answered the my question.

  3. from the WSJ in 2023 – Trump and Biden have the same solution – a cut in benefits, or a last minute bailout done by someone else “not on my watch”, same as Clinton, Bush 2 and Obama.

“… Joe Biden and Donald Trump agree on one thing. “I guarantee you I will protect Social Security and Medicare without any change. Guaranteed,” Mr. Biden said in March. Mr. Trump has said: “I will do everything within my power not to touch Social Security, to leave it the way it is.” A pro-Trump super PAC launched an ad attacking Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for his efforts as a member of Congress to restructure benefits….”
