Is appropriate behavior for the President?

Is this how to run international relations? Military protection from who?

If we don’t need what Canada sells, why do we buy it now?

How would Canada, the state, have lower taxes and maintain it’s current social structure

  1. Trump does have everybody wondering just how much of his talk is mere bombast or how much the US will actually back up. It isn’t traditional diplomatic speak, more like a street fighter. It’s a little unnerving at times but it gets the point across. I’m sure the diplomatic channels are still conversing in traditional stilted language but they now know just exactly what the thinking is beyond that language.

I agree that Trump does wander off the rails with some of his off the cuff remarks about issues like the plane crash and so on but on the international side I think it’s about time for some straight talk.

  2. Al Lindquist:

here’s all I know–Mexico has agreed to 10,000 of their troops on the border to deal with illegals and drugs–I believe the corpse had, at one time, a deal with Mexico for 6,000 but, I could be wrong.

I just read El Salvador will take illegals from the U.S. regardless of country of origin–will to follow up to see if accurate.

I suspect some sort of deal with Canada will be made–bombast about 51st state but agree 100% that it is not necessary to insult and act like a fool–I find his personal behavior despicable such as press briefing at crash site–who needs all the garbage he spills out?

Trump is not my favorite person but the thought of the left-wing loonies in charge until 2028 was enough for the country to sallow hard and elect again our boy in the White House.

Maybe if the left had not told so many lies and nominated someone like the governor of PA (I know, the left had issues because he was Jewish) someone else would be doing our bidding.
