Our government.

Is it time to remind Mr Trump and Mr Musk – and many people who voted for them?

The U.S. Constitution establishes a system of three separate but equal branches of government:

The Legislative Branch: This branch is responsible for making laws. It is comprised of the Congress, which is divided into two chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives.

What? I’m not President?

The Executive Branch: This branch is responsible for enforcing the laws made by the Legislative Branch. It is headed by the President of the United States, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.

The Judicial Branch: This branch is responsible for interpreting the laws and ensuring that they are applied fairly. It is headed by the Supreme Court of the United States, which is the highest court in the country.

The Constitution also establishes a system of checks and balances, which ensures that no one branch of government becomes too powerful.

For example, the President can veto laws passed by Congress, but Congress can override the veto with a two-thirds vote.

The Supreme Court can declare laws passed by Congress or the President unconstitutional

  1. AL LINDQUIST

remember, you and your friends brought us this president–have you not followed the Dems that are trying to get rid of folks that brought us all the cultural nonsense–so just what is a “birthing parent”?–talk about a nutty group of folks.

I love your previous commentary this morning when you talked about “ignorance”–of course who fell for the hoax that Russia elected Trump the 1st time–that Russian disinformation was the genesis of the Hunter laptop–that illegal immigration was a Faux News creation–that inflation was transitory and caused by shortages (what are we short of now?–eggs?)–that the corpse was just fine physically and mentally and fit enough to run and serve, until he wasn’t because the emperor had no clothes and no chance to win, thus the coup by our “threat to democracy” loons–you guys called it “cheap fake”

I bet you were not moved in the least when the Supreme Court ruled that the student loan transfer to the working class was unconstitutional and the corpse said he didn’t care what the court ruled–he was going around the court–again he tried and again he lost

who was the president who said he had “a pen and a phone” and that was all he needed? you and your buddies had no issues with Obama I suspect–if you did they might label you “racist” so no peeps out of you guys.

read your last sentence–president’s do not pass laws only Congress does–if the executive action violates a Congressional legislative action it can be ruled unconstitutional–Trump fired many AG’s but could well be in violation of the 30-day notice to Congress as passed by Congress–courts are now looking at that–if he loses then he will have to rescind the action–then give 30-days before firing.

actually the “deep state” is branch # 4–bureaucrats actually implement the legislation–they write what they think the law means and now have become very powerful–the fact that most of them belong to the party of government means we have a very left tilt to our laws–that is about to change.

thanks again to you and your buddies–you made it all possible–listen to James Carville, Senator Fetterman–Bill Maher –talk about the lefties and how they created what they now despise

I see AOC and Pete Buttigieg have done away with “pronouns” on their website–what about you?

  2. There is nothing unconstitutional about what Trump and DOGE are doing. As the “CEO” of the executive branch, he has the right to set policies, procedures, manpower, etc. of all the departments within the executive branch. These include Dept of Education, USAID, Treasury, etc. Who can complain about uncovering billions of fraud, waste, and abuse. No laws are being broken, and all the frivolous lawsuits will eventually be overturned. Why can’t the democrats just relax and quit wasting everyone’s time? As one BHO once said, “Elections have consequences.”
