    I think they should take Biden’s plan on Social Security and use that as their starting point.

  2. I believe the last appointed commission to work on Social Security was in 1983. Reagan did it because no headway was being made with various people involved. However, if you’re directed to follow the outline of solutions contained in the Trustees Report, why bother with a commission.
    The Congress will act when they have to and not before. That’s generally the way things get done there. So maybe in 4-5 years a plan will surface.
