America can’t be great, can’t stand alone in this world. And yet we are acting like an arrogant bully, a spoiled child.
This is not going to end well.
Despite what some people think we need our European allies as much as they need us.
We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.
QUINNSCOMMENTARY 
That’s a good trade off. Letting a bunch of university researchers be paid by EU supported schools. I hope they get their money’s worth.
As for the arrogant bully moniker, I have long thought this country has acted like an arrogant bully. We have bombed and invaded a lot of countries with only a pretense of a reason. This has been going on for years under many administrations. Calling the EU conglomerate “pathetic freeloaders” is only a trifling remark.
