Listen, read and observe

This is how America is being run. Cross the boss and you get investigated, your house raided, legal charges brought against you, maybe fired.

If you’re lucky, you are just publicly bullied and called insulting names to undermine your credibility.

Some American “patriots” 🇺🇸 still think this is “GREAT”

In reality, our Republic is being dismantled cornerstone by cornerstone and its stability is at risk.

Authoritarian rulers try to weaken opposition’s capacity, undermine its legitimacy, and discourage participation, while presenting themselves as the only source of stability.

All you have to do is listen, read and observe, not to me, not Democrats, not liberals, just do those three things for Mr Trump.

He is the best person to demonstrate who he is and what he wants.

Bullying, revenge, division, authoritarianism and hate. That’s what America voted for and that’s what it got.

And you thought it was about what was best for you and your country😡

Mr Trump is giving James Buchanan, Benedict Arnold, Andrew Jackson, Aaron Burr, Franklin Pierce and Andrew Johnson a run for their money although some observers say he is already on the list for using his office for personal gain and that’s just the first term.

  1. I think most of us already knew exactly what was going to happen before the election – they have followed Project 2025 to the letter – but you were spending equal time writing about the threat from absurd ideas that were never going to happen from the far left, like the wealth tax and Elizabeth Warren. Our country is going to learn a hard lesson now. We had the greatest country in the whole world and gave it all up for our own version of Hugo Chavez. And they will never walk away from power now because of all the illegal stuff they are doing, for fear of retribution. Autocracy 101….there is no exit strategy….

  2. “An accessory to murder is defined as someone who assists or aids the actual perpetrator of the murder, either before or after the crime is committed.”

Please stop trying to normalize Trump. He was much more than accessory, he blatantly encouraged the murder of Pence, and witnessed the resultant murder of Ashli Babbitt, trying to blame her death on a security guard doing his job.

He tried to violently overthrow our government. He did not send in the National Guard because “Security was not my responsibility.” He should have been in prison years ago.

He has no morals. The world will be lucky to survive the next four years.

Agree. What happened to our government when Harry Reid (D-NV) eliminated the fillibuster for judicial appointments?

Agree, what happend to our deficits when President Bush II and President Obama added new unfunded entitlements in the form of Medicare Part D and Health Reform, in an effort to buy votes, where since 2004, we took, a $4 Trillion debt and turned it into $37 Trillion? Keep in mind that President Trump tried to repeal the deficit generating Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. Similarly, keep in mind that Congress hasn’t passed a budget, only take it or leave it Continuing Resolutions, since 2016 – that is, not once during the Trump 1 Administration or the Biden Administration. In fact, over the past 25 years, Congress only adopted seven budgets, in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2016. Note that 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009 were during the George W. Bush Administration. So, only two times in the sixteen years of Presidents Obama, Trump 1 and Biden.

Agree, what happened when the Biden Administration tried to mandate vaccines for everyone (in corporate America and the military), and when blue state/city administrations arrested folks who tried to reopen their church, school, business, after vaccines were available everywhere in America in 2021. Compare that to the government’s reaction to the George Floyd “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” during the summer of 2020… despite riots, looting, killing, few were arrested, let alone prosecuted and convicted.

Wasn’t it the Biden Administration who tried to crap on the 1st Amendment with their efforts at “disinformation” – looking to add a new office to Homeland Security? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwNjSrkFbDs and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNcEVYq2qUg and https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/department-homeland-security-shuts-disinformation-board-drew-fire-gop-rcna44757

Agree, the lawfare, renamed today as “revenge”, really started in earnest with that crap at the IRS attempting to delay or deny charitable organizations their tax exemption, followed by litigation over policy disputes – leading to various federal district court nationwide injunctions during the Trump 1 administration. And, why would anyone be surprised when the Republicans found a district court in Texas to conduct the same activity when President Biden was in office? Only recently did the Supreme Court step in and curtail those abuses involving forum shopping.

Who ran for office pledging to put Trump behind bars in New York? ‘You show me the man, I’ll show you the crime.’ Sounds a lot like Soviet jurist, Andrey Vyshinsky, or the Soviet secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria – where in the Soviet Union, under Stalin, you could find any defendant guilty of “something”.

Why is it that you only now see that … when it is all but too late to stop others who now choose to deploy the same tactics in response?

For example, did Trump 1 put Hillary Clinton in jail? Did the Trump 1 Administration pursue President Obama? It certainly wasn’t because both were squeaky clean …

Show us your blog posts complaining about the IRS when Obama was president and running for reelection. Show us your blog posts complaining about lawfare from Letitia James, or Fani Willis/Nathan Wade, or Jack Smith.

To quote one supreme court justice in criticizing Smith’s appointment as not permitted by existing provisions of the U. S. Constitution:

“… No former President has faced criminal prosecution for his acts while in office in the more than 200 years since the founding of our country. And, that is so despite numerous past Presidents taking actions that many would argue constitute crimes … If this unprecedented prosecution is to proceed, it must be conducted by someone duly authorized to do so by the American people. …”

Where have you been the last nine years? And, why do you now think the risk is so much greater than it was in the recent past?

don’t worry Jack brother Quinn won’t respond–he is the person throwing mud whenever and wherever–responding to your facts would be a hill to high to climb–always unnerved by Letitia James who promised to find a crime against Trump if elected–was actually discussing it with my wife at lunch.

great stuff Jack–have read it a few times and very impressive–you write I read.

  4. It was ok when the opposition political party tried to bankrupt and destroy President Trump. They conjured up lies and false accusations, brought false charges against the candidate and subsequent president. But I guess that is ok.

President Trump has wearhered every storm and still managed to change the dynamics of both the Republucan and Democratic parties while seeking to end age old conflicts.

    1. This isn’t about political parties, it’s about long term damage to our country and our society by a demagogue and would be dictator. How anyone cannot see the danger created by his behavior is incomprehensible to me.

      1. Dick, I certainly agree.

So, which is the party who started lawfare? Which is the party that weaponized the Internal Revenue Service? Which is the party of “pen and phone”? Which is the party of mandates? Which is the party that all but ensured a split Supreme Court when it eliminated the fillibuster for certain judicial appointments? Which is the party of calling the other Nazis? Which is the party of packing the Supreme Court? Which is the party calling for elimination of the Electoral College? Which is the party that refined gerrymandering to a fine art – see California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland and many others? And, on and on and on.

Why only now do you speak up?

        good stuff per usual Jack–

many folks who only see one side of an issue , the issue from their political party perspective, they tend to be political hacks –combine that with TDS and you have what Quinn pontificates on a regular basis.

early this AM when reading his latest screed my first thought was; “where were you” when? when millions crossing illegally for 4 years folks like Quinn justified it but now are furious that laws might be broken trying to fix the mess they created–we could go on and on

folks like Quinn have a plan for you and a plan for me–the plan for Quinn does not include me and the plan for me does not include him–he and others play by separate rules as they think their __ __it doesn’t stink–I interact with these folks all the time and they really think they are better beings than those that do not hold their world view.

the only good the Quinn folks brought us was folks saw through their lies and changed horses in ’24–the stupid ideas (defund the cops) were bad enough but add on the lies (our boy is in great mental shape don’t believe your lying eyes), and the WOKE folks shutting down all kinds of people, and you have the makings of Trump.

sure, Trump does and says many foolish things, but the loons on the left are now paying a price for what they did to millions of Americans–doesn’t justify the Bolton raid if it turns out there are no illegal documents at home–or sending soldiers to Chicago–or some of the illegal immigrant acts we read of–I can agree with Quinn on many of those.

the party is now paying a firm to educate them how to talk to the average person and just issued a list of banned words the lefties need to be aware of– what a political party!!

      1. As far as Andrew Johnson, it’s history written by the victors but it is too far in the past to fret over now. We have more pressing problems.

As for Trump, I agree he is over the top and shoots from the lip too much and should not openly say what he really thinks about some of the people he has to deal with. He is a good street fighter and knows who has it in for him. I give him a pass for taking on a lot of weasels that would undermine this country. That includes political types, academia nut jobs, and other groups.
