I spent the last hour trying to quantify Trump lies. I found it impossible because there are so many since his first term and now. There are thousands, many repeated even after being shown untrue.
IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SAY all politicians lie and thus give Trump a pardon. This is not just a politician overpromising, or exaggerating. What Trump is doing is intentionally inflating his ego, undermining Americans confidence in their own government and society, our standing in the world, fostering hate and division. He can’t help himself, he has a seriously defective personality.
The Country has never experienced anything like it before.
The most dangerous threat is the Americans who accept him on face value. Who don’t question his claims or worse, dismiss the facts.
On Truth Social on August 25, 2025, he stated his approval rating was at 70%. However, these claims are not supported by any major national polls, which consistently show his approval ratings ranging between 37% and 48%, with most in the low to mid-40s and net approval ratings between -3% and -18%.
If we isolate just his core supporters he may have a point, but not close if you want the picture for all Americans.
You just can’t be sure what is fact or fiction.
Was the boat our military attacked recently filled with drugs and “terrorists.” Likely, but will we know for sure, especially the terrorist claim? And while many Americans will cheer his bold shoot um up approach, what about the rule of law? Have we just abandoned it to return to the Wild West? That may have a short-term appeal, but it won’t sustain our society.
Remember this caim as a result of the phony DOGE effort?
Millions of deceased people receive Social Security checks: Trump claimed in 2025 that government databases list 4.7 million Social Security recipients aged 100–109 and 3.6 million aged 110–119, implying fraud by deceased recipients. Fact-checks, including by his own Social Security Commissioner, confirm these numbers are false; deceased individuals are not receiving widespread payments.
Then to make it worse he now claims to be preserving SS by eliminating fraud and waste while actually undermining its finances with his tax changes.
Every time you accept his claims without verifying from different sources, you are his victim and feeding the beast.
Who paid for the border wall and how much? No one source seems to know although it’s in the tens of billions and the OBBBA allocated another $46 billion. One thing is certain, Mexico did not pay as claimed, you did or rather your children as the funds were borrowed a part or our deficit spending.
JUST TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO CHECK. When Trump claimed China would pay the tariffs you could have Googled “how do tariffs work?” You can easily check past inflation by year as you can federal debt and deficits and thus know which claims are false.

I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop as I contemplate retirement. Will our economy tank? What will happen to small businesses if they can’t make financial plans due to the uncertainty of the tariffs? Many people have told me it’s a bad time to retire with the economic uncertainty of the Trump economy.

and that Wall being paid for by Mexico–well, it was a symbol to millions of Americans that he took the invasion seriously–never invited millions in like you folks (and now we have a big mess)–and it took but a month or two to stop the flow–now the corpse who invited them all in, finally issued an executive order late in ’24 to stop the invasion and it worked well–same one he could have issued on 01/21/2021–wonder why he waited until late in 2024?

If you spent the last hour trying to quantify some lies, my guess is that you weren’t a happy camper the hour before, the hour of, or at least an hour after! Remember this, for every minute you are unhappy, that’s a minute of happiness you will never get back! Think about that. Save yourself, and others around you, let that stuff go.
I guess there is only so much can be written about SS, When to retire, IRAs,Medicare, Medicaid, you wrote about them all. Some good advice and insight along the way. Don’t spend the rest of your retirement watching reruns of the “VIEW”! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can’t say anything about all the topics but Trump took the bad social security numbers from the DOGE crew and they had failed to understand the older system SSA was using didn’t have space to input DOD. I fault them but Trump should have publicly corrected that info.
