We face many problems… health care costs, immigration, debt, Social Security, Medicare and in the future more inflation.
But we are not solving them, we are not talking about serious plans, strategies, we are not being honest.
In fact, in many cases we don’t even correctly identify the problem.
This is not unique to the Trump administration, but Mr Trump is a master at creating a false problem, misleading on real problems and coming up with short-sighted, off the cuff simplistic “solutions.”
Illegal immigration and health care are good examples. Each of these problems has a solution, not easy, not quick, but a solution that requires reasonable consensus to have a lasting impact- and is in the best interest of all Americans and our country.
Instead, the approach we are following is bully and bang away with naive assumptions.
We are in fact addressing problems with a Wack a Mole approach and solving very little on a sustainable basis.

No‼️ You need to think first.

Al Lindquist
problems that you and your followers helped create–
who invited 10,000,000 illegals into this country?
all the big spending programs you identify are broke, busted, or in danger of collapse and you want to grow them even larger.
you haven’t a clue about inflation–last time I knew you though higher prices=inflation–check out the M2 money supply when you have a minute–why did we have 9.2% annualized in June of 2022–did oil hit $100 a barrel?
Obamacare and the crazy Biden programs are the biggest drivers of debt–if we extend the subsidies how is it paid for?–who was going to pay for the student loan forgiveness?
the border is closed and there is a cease fire in the Middle East–not too shabby
now I just heard him call Biden “stupid” which is true but totally unnecessary.

If you are interested here are the estimated undocumented in the US by year. Nobody invited 19 million, they have here for decades, mostly working and paying taxes and buying stuff in the process.

I believe your figures are folks who are here illegally not the 10,000,000 or so that were added by encouraging folks to come–looks to me that Pew tells we had close to 40% more illegals from 2021 to 2023 in this country— looks like for many years our total amount of illegals, not those coming each year, was close to 10 million +–then a dramatic increase of folks living here illegally–folks poured in as they were virtually invited–
in my world folks need to obey the law, get in line, and arrive legally–one legitimate complaint about Trump is that he flouts the law and that we cannot have.

What I want is for all the essential programs like SS, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and a few others necessary in a 340 mi,lion person society to be paid for and kept silent. Would you rather they simply,y go away?
Is your goal just lower taxes and smaller government and then let Americans fend for themselves? That’s the MAGA goal and why they are following Project 2025 strategies. The US spends $18 billion a day, the majority on its people. So, what do you want to change?

and who is paying for it?–read on line Washington Post a week ago about the massive amount of fraud they uncovered at the VA–talks about a mess and folks gaming the system–anything you want to cut to help reduce the deficit?
