We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.

Give it some thought. Look around the world at sovereign funds, too.
More importantly, nothing wrong with investing in land, timber, minerals, oil and gas … or even Greenland (as I mentioned earlier).
However, investing in debt instruments simply allows Congress to spend more money in budgetary allocations than they are willing to raise via taxation – adding to annual deficits and our national debt.
