In the world of blogs, mine is quite insignificant. My followers are modest in number, my daily visits and views are in the hundreds, not thousands.
It’s kind of who cares what this old curmudgeon has to say.
HOWEVER, it appears that viewing what I write about attracts attention from an unlikely place.
In most weeks the views of my blog from China are nearly the same as from the USA.
What’s going on? I have no idea, but if this is true for my blog, imagine what is happening at other sites.
I’m wondering, does China hope to learn more about Americans and their issues? How we think about things, agree and disagree?
Are my frequent criticisms of Trump and his administration of interest to people in China. If so, I am flattered.
As I said, I have no idea, but if you are a reader from China (or any other country) send a comment letting me know the attraction for my blog. I’ll try to do better.

I am a Canadian who has followed your blog since you were trapped on a cruise ship during COVID times. As both a retiree, and a retired HR professional I have used your blog to keep me informed of US Healthcare morphing into trying to understand the US aversion to, or recognition of “taxes”, and misunderstanding of many (not you) about Universal healthcare vs Free healthcare. Keep up the factual recording and perhaps the Chinese attention will educate them.

Dick, No you don’t make a penny and that is one of the things I like about reading your blogs. They are factually presented and not driven by an ulterior motive of profit or propaganda and they are almost always very informative.
