The funny thing is nobody has taken away my freedom, but perhaps I have helped protect myself and others along the way.
Using the loss of ones personal freedom as an excuse to not mask or to get vaccinated is extremely selfish and thus just plain ignorant.

Show me the study that confirms masks are effective – document the benefits achieved. It’s one thing to mandate masks before we had vaccines. In particular, show me the study of benefits now that 75+% of age 65+ Americans are vaccinated. Further, please identify the study that confirms the benefits far exceed the costs involved in a mask mandate (including fines, incarceration, enforcement).
Oregon announced mandatory masks, even for the vaccinated, outdoors. Show me the science that mandate is based on, and the cost-benefit that confirms it is an appropriate mandate.
With respect to the vaccines, it is an unfortunate fact that there are adverse effects for a small minority. Reports of death after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. More than 310 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through June 14, 2021. During this time, VAERS (CDC) received 5,343 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.
However, life is not without its risks. Those who forego vaccination may want to compare those risks with others that they regularly accept – like driving and riding in cars – where the risk of injury and death is sometimes much greater. Americans drove less in 2020 due to the pandemic. However, deaths increased to 38,680 people.
I am a twice vaccinated individual who still regularly wears a mask when indoors (shopping, etc.) We still don’t eat indoors at restaurants. And, I am looking forward to my booster in November – and I’ll get it sooner if I can.
These are difficult times – please stop criticizing others decisions, vaccinated or not, masked or not …

I don’t mind wearing the mask because I know it makes others more comfortable. I’ve also kept my distance in public places, so others aren’t worried. But after much research, I’ve come to believe, that those that have had Covid already have a much greater immunity to future variants than those who have only been vaccinated, thus no need for the shot. Actually, it’s beginning to look like the shots are not the answer to this virus. Hopefully, time and facts and freedom of speech will produce answers that will help us all see more clearly. But if the Gov’t, big Pharma & big Tech won’t give an ear to all the highly qualified and top medical virologists, immunologists, cardiologists and other doctors who differ with them on how to take care of the people, then the truth might get buried in what could just be the world’s largest fear-based money making scheme in history. Meanwhile, it might be our unfortunate fate that both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated will fall ill and many will die of this disease. It couldn’t hurt to make sure that our affairs are in order and that we are prepared to face the Almighty One.

RD – Each health issue should be left to the individual and their doctor, not the government or employer. The so called vaccine, is gene therapy. In 1976 swine flu vaccine killed 59 people and it was pulled from the market. Why the safety issues are being ignored in 2021 – It is all about the Benjamins, period.

My wife and I traveled through 18 states, over 10,000 miles from Sept 2020 to April 2021. No Covid, FLU not even a cold. No vaccine for my wife and I ever, since the chance of dying from Covid is only 3 to 5 %. Data from all over the world shows that many fully vaccinated people are getting Covid and their viral load is just as high as the unvaccinated. So, they are just as infectious as the unvaccinated.

In a society of 330 million, individuals do not have the freedom with health issues that can impact others. That is not fair nor is incurring health care costs paid for by others when they can be avoided. The deaths and the adverse reactions have been insignificant in the scheme of things. Look at any medication. They all have risks. Adverse reactions and interactions from prescription medication is always a significant cause of death.

I ORDERED THE PREVENTATIVE TREATMENT WITH VITAMINS & HCQ/IVERMECTIN PLUS ANTIBIOTIC, ETC., SO I’VE DONE WHAT I CAN, JUST IN CASE. I HAD COVID LAST YEAR, SO I DON’T NEED OR WANT THE SHOT AND THE REAL RISK FROM TAKING IT. THIS REALLY IS A DIFFICULT DECISION FOR EVERYONE…AND IT SEEMS THERE IS NO PERFECT SOLUTION FOR ALL.

Mask limit the spread, period. Perfect no, but reduced spread definitely. Are some vaccinated getting COVID, yes, but on much less risky basis. Can they spread it, probably, hence masking. Yes, you do need the shot. The immunity affects of getting COVID or a vaccine both wear off and lesson over time.

You are right this is a “SCHEME” !!! To make billions for big pharma. The vaccine is gene therapy – masquerading as a vaccine. The CEO of MERK said the best way to beat this virus is natural immunity, once they found that the vaccine that they were working did not provide enough protection to continue research.
You are wrong RD – the deaths of thousands and adverse reactions to millions around the world, from gene therapy, that does not even keep you from getting Covid is not insignificant, if you or your family is harmed by this so called vaccine.

Keep trying. You are absolutely correct. Unfortunately, people with little or no scientific training think that they can analyze data better than physicians and scientists who spend a lifetime doing it. The overwhelming consensus of qualified people is that masks and vaccines save lives. Acting otherwise is stupid, irresponsible, and selfish. Science does not care what anyone thinks and is not political.

There are many who wonder why everyone isn’t just running out and getting the vaccine for the good of everyone – that there is a “consensus” that it is necessary. But is there a consensus? There are millions of wonderful and thoughtful people who are asking good questions and seeking the truth about whether or not the vaccine shot is an acceptable solution to the Covid virus. It could be that there are more against the vaccines than are for it.
