Wanting to enjoy retirement while healthy (56 percent)
By far the most common answer was about time, not money. Retirees want to enjoy their early retirement years while they still have the energy and health to do the things they’ve been looking forward to, like traveling, spending time with family, and being active. More than half of respondents chose this as their top reason.

Having now been retired sixteen years, I can tell you that reason makes a lot of sense. in retirement putting anything you want to do until “tomorrow” is not a great idea.
