Did you ever wonder…

They had the help of sycophants, they built a cult of personality, they used scapegoats and propaganda. They made appealing impossible promises or ones they never intended to keep.

All you have to do is read, listen, and observe and you will understand.

This is what MAGA has brought to America. It’s a display of ignorance, xenophobia and racism that too many people find acceptable… and it has been promoted and supported even initiated by the President of the United States of America.

This meme is quite a display of ignorance, hate and racism, but that’s MAGA🥵

  1. No, it doesn’t imply Obama is not a citizen.

You miss the intent of the meme – it aggressively (and stupidly) asserts the opposite – that these are all American citizens whose primary allegiance isn’t to US citizens but to illegal aliens.

Ilhan Omar was born in Somalia, and became a U.S. citizen in 2000 when she was 17 years old.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was born in the Bronx, New York City.

Rashida Tlaib was born in Detroit.

President Obama was born in Honolulu.

Zohran Mandami was born in Uganda, moved to the United States at age 7, and became a U.S. citizen in 2018.

Karen Bass was born in Los Angeles

Joe Biden was born in Scranton.

The real problem here is that too many people skip over the word “illegal” and, too many, including most of the folks listed here, don’t differentiate between “illegal” and “legal”.

Remember, we have had federal laws clearly and intentionally restricting immigration, creating “legal” and “illegal” immigration, dating back prior to the Declaration of Independence and the adoption of the Constitution of the United States, for example:

    • The 7th grievance of the Declaration of Independence explicitly condemns the King of England for blocking immigration: “He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither…”
    • Article I, Section 9, Clause 1 prohibited Congress from banning the importation of enslaved people from abroad until the year 1808; and Congress officially banned the international slave trade on January 1, 1808, with the passing of the Act Prohibiting the Importation of Slaves on March 2, 1807, and
    • Prior to my mom coming to America in 1925, among the various laws, there were – Nationality Act of 1790, Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798, Indian Removal Act 1830, Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo 1848, Immigration Act of 1864, Burlingame Treaty of 1868, Naturalization Act of 1870, Chinese Exclusion Act 1882, Immigration Act of 1882, Immigration Bureau established 1891. Immigration Act of 1891, Geary Act 1892, Immigration Act of 190,3 Emergency Quota Law 1921, and the Immigration Act of 1924.

      1. The question mark is the end of the sentence:

“Who else is sick and tired of the entire Democratic party putting foreigners and terrorists above American citizens?”

Why did you think it questioned these folks citizenship?

  2. “illegal” ≠ “ignorance, hate and racist”!

As a first generation American, born to an immigrant, naturalized mother who arrived at Ellis Island at age 7 months in July 1925, when one of my relatives was deported during the Obama Administration for overstaying her student visa, even though she was of European descent, I never suggested President Obama or Democrats or the officials in Homeland Security were “ignorant, hateful or racist” when they enforced our immigration laws.

    You shouldn’t either.

    1. You better take another look at the post, you entirely misread it. The meme itself was what I referred to, not the people.

The meme implies Obama was not a citizen and attacks foreigners and implies they are terrorists.
